Volleyball Recap: West Holmes Comes Up Short

West Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Hiland Hawks. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-7, 25-10.

Olivia Miller was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 40 times she's played.

West Holmes' loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Hiland, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Coming up, West Holmes will welcome Wooster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hiland, they will head out on the road to face off against Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
