Volleyball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Sierra Linda Bulldogs

The Copper Canyon Aztecs are taking a road trip to challenge the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Copper Canyon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering La Joya Community just ended the team's four-match winning streak two weeks ago. They lost 3-0 to the Fighting Lobos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Aztecs have suffered since September 8th.

Meanwhile, Sierra Linda came up short against Independence on Monday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sierra Linda's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Copper Canyon, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.

Copper Canyon beat Sierra Linda 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aztecs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
