It was a good run, but Section unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Skyline Vikings by a score of 62-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Section's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Skyline, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Section will take on Whitesburg Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Section's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Skyline, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Sand Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
