Rockwood Summit came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Northwest Lions by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2016.

Rockwood Summit pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Northwest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwood Summit will take on Seckman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwest, they will square off against Mehlville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
