Volleyball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Takes a Loss

Troy-Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Howell Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

While Troy-Buchanan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Howell's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.

Troy-Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Howell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Troy-Buchanan will square off against Hickman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Howell has already played their next match (against St. Dominic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
