 Mid Valley had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. They never let the Honesdale Hornets onto the board and left with  a   16-0  win. Mid Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matches by seven  runs or more this season.
  Ava Hazelton looked comfortable as she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Chiara Zavislak, who  went 3-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple.  Elise Larson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Mid Valley's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Honesdale, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-15.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid Valley will take on Scranton Prep at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Honesdale, they will be playing at home against Dunmore at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
