Mountain Home extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lexi Longhurst. The Mountain Home Tigers snuck past the Burley Bobcats with a 54-48 victory on Monday thanks in part to Longhurst, who went 11 for 17 on her way to 26 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ruby Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Taylor a new career-high. Adalynn Olmos was another key player, putting up nine points along with five assists and four steals.
Mountain Home has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Burley, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-6.
