Basketball Preview: Sundance Bulldogs vs. Big Horn Rams
Sundance is 9-1 against the Rams since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sundance Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Big Horn Rams at 5:30 p.m.
Last Saturday, Sundance faced the Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The match between Sundance and the Eagles wasn't particularly close, with the Bulldogs falling 48-29. Sundance's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Sundance had strong showings from Jaylin Mills, who scored 16 points along with three steals, and Lexie Marchant, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Big Horn didn't have too much trouble with the Rebels at home on Saturday as they won 50-33. The win was just what Big Horn needed coming off of a 57-37 loss in their prior game.
Sundance's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Big Horn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.
Sundance beat the Rams 49-41 in their previous matchup back in January. Does Sundance have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
