Baseball Recap: Reedley Comes Up Short

Reedley lost against Selma last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates fell just short of the Bears by a score of 6-5. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Jarrett was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Reedley's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Selma, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Reedley will head out to take on Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Selma, they will be playing at home against Exeter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
