Soccer Recap: Brandon Plays Ranked Matchup

On Saturday, Brandon faced Tupelo in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Neither the Brandon Bulldogs nor the Tupelo Golden Wave could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bulldogs have been dealt a draw since back in November of 2024.

Brandon's draw gives them a new season record of 17-1-2. As for Tupelo, they moved theirs to 14-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandon will challenge Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tupelo has already played their next contest (against Pontotoc), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
