Volleyball Recap: Serena Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Serena won the last time they faced Marquette and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Huskers came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Huskers as they're now sitting on four straight.

While Serena might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Marquette scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Anna Hjerpe paced Serena's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hjerpe got some help from Rebekah Shugrue and her 19 assists. Hjerpe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Serena's victory bumped their record up to 19-10-1. As for Marquette, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Serena has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gardner-South Wilmington on the 23rd. As for Marquette, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Roanoke-Benson on the 23rd.
