Soccer Recap: Gates County Ends Even with Bear Grass Charter

For the first time this season, Gates County was forced to settle for a draw. The Red Barons and Bear Grass Charter finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Gates County's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-1. Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter's record is now 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Gates County will host Perquimans County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Gates County their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Bear Grass Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
