Volleyball Recap: Homewood Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Spanish Fort

Homewood faced Spanish Fort in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Toros. The Patriots have struggled against the Toros recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sarah Johnson paced Homewood's offense, picking up nine kills. Johnson got some help from Kamryn Coleman and her 13 assists.

Victoria Holley was the offensive standout of the game as she had 11 digs and two aces.
