It was a good run, but Washington-Liberty unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to the McLean Highlanders 36-31. The Generals were probably out for revenge after losing 36-33 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington-Liberty's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for McLean, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Washington-Liberty will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Langley at 7:30 p.m. As for McLean, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Herndon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
