Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson lost to Chelsea on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 13-1 to the Bulldogs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malachi McClain, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Chelsea, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chelsea beat Jackson by a score of 21-0 later that day.
