Soccer Recap: Granby Comes Up Short

Granby lost against Ocean Lakes back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dolphins. While losing is never fun, Granby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Ocean Lakes are ranked 18th).

Granby's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-6. As for Ocean Lakes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-2.

As of now, neither Granby nor the Dolphins have any future games scheduled.
