Baseball Recap: Elizabethton Takes a Loss

Elizabethton fell victim to South Elgin and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Fighting Cyclones' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Elizabethton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for South Elgin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Elizabethton will face off against Lexington at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Elgin, they will challenge Tippecanoe at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
