Softball Preview: Stratford Academy Eagles vs. Pinewood Christian Patriots        
        
		
             After three games on the road, Stratford Academy is heading back home. They will welcome the Pinewood Christian Patriots  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Tuesday, Stratford Academy got the win against Tiftarea Academy  by a conclusive  14-2.
 Stratford Academy let  Hayden Craddock and  Graci Kluge loose on the outfield. Craddock  went 4-for-5 with four  RBI, a  stolen base, and a  run, while  Kluge  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, a  triple, and  an  RBI. That  triple was  Kluge's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reagan Ray, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Stratford Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  hit at least 12  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Pinewood Christian made easy work of Edmund Burke Academy  on Wednesday and carried off  a  13-5 victory.
 Stratford Academy pushed their record up to 7-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Pinewood Christian, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season.
 Everything went Stratford Academy's way against Pinewood Christian in their previous meeting  back in October of 2022 as Stratford Academy made off with  an  8-0 victory. Does  Stratford Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pinewood Christian turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
