Football Recap: Easton Area Skates Past Spring-Ford with Ease

Easton Area won the last time they faced Spring-Ford and things went their way on Friday too. The Rovers blew past the Rams, posting a 36-3 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rovers just coasted through the last quarter.

Easton Area had a senior duo take command as Cole Ordway rushed for 161 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries and Chris Martinez rushed for 165 yards and one score while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.

Easton Area was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 331 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spring-Ford only rushed for 106 rushing yards.

Easton Area's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.5 points over those games. As for Spring-Ford, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
