League recap: Pico breaks off league-leading run for Elsinore

Elsinore's Shane Pico recorded the longest rushing play in Sunbelt this season in his game against Rancho Verde last week. Pico ran for 51 yards on the play and finished with 140 on the day as his team fell to the Mustangs.

Heritage was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Patriots defeated San Jacinto 37-13.

Tommy Wilson was a passing and rushing force as Elsinore lost to Rancho Verde. He completed 17 passes for 149 yards and also ran for 22 yards. Wilson's favorite target this week was Mitchell Patten, who caught 7 passes for 73 yards.

Patten was the best receiver in the league this week as Tony Peralta's team lost to Thomas duffy's team.

Brent Boehm put up the best numbers through the air as Paloma Valley defeated San Bernardino. He finished with 6 completions for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns. Boehm's favorite target this week was Elliott Smith, who caught 2 passes for 37 yards.

Pico was the best running back in Sunbelt this week. Jacob Guglielmana also contributed to the rushing game with 44 yards on the ground.

The Wildcats took down the Cardinals 61-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Boehm ran for 73 yards in the win.
