Baseball Game Preview: Chase Trojans vs. Patton Panthers

For the second straight game, Chase will face off against Patton. The Trojans will welcome the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chase's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Chase turned things around against Patton on Tuesday. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 3rd.

For Patton's part, Cohen Christian spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks. Christian has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Patton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7. As for Chase, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
