After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Steubenville, Brooke was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Liverpool Potters a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Brooke, who have now won six matchups by six goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting East Liverpool from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Gianna Siegel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Brooke's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those four contests. As for East Liverpool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8-2.

Looking ahead, Brooke will square off against Grafton at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Liverpool, they will take on Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
