It's playoff time, and Davis had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Copper Hills Grizzlies on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Darts sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Serena Roth made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over 11 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
Roth wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Norah Sunderland, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Davis' victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Copper Hills, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-7.
