Football Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 18-6 to the Anclote Sharks.

Alexis Miller was nothing short of spectacular for Anclote: she rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Miller's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Anclote, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Hudson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunlake at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Anclote, they will face off against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anclote's defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so Wiregrass Ranch's offense will have their work cut out for them.
