After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Watauga, Providence was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Butler Bulldogs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Providence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 11-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-19, 15-13.

Kaitlin White paced Providence's offense, picking up 13 kills. White got some help from Ellie Rinehardt and her 17 assists. Finally, Kenedi Cunningham kept Providence's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Despite the loss, Butler still got an impressive performance from Amaya Bailey, who had 12 digs and three aces. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Butler, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
