Football Recap: Dylan Fraembs Key Part of Team Effort in Bruins Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bloomington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Arroyo Valley Hawks 16-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bruins have posted since August 30, 2024.

Bloomington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Fraembs led the charge by rushing for 110 yards and one TD.

Bloomington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Fraembs and Steven Salcido. Salcido has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last three times he's played.

Although Arroyo Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Kymani Nolley and Eddie Pimentel.

Bloomington has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Arroyo Valley fell to 5-1.
