Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Upson-Lee had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Crawford County Eagles on Tuesday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Upson-Lee easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13.

Amiya Cromer paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up six kills. Cromer got some help from Kaylin Gresham and her ten assists. Gresham also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubrey Tucker, racking up three apiece.

Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Crawford County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Stratford Academy on the 12th. As for Crawford County, they will challenge Mount de Sales Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
