Volleyball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla's tournament run continued when they took on Victory Christian on Saturday. The Norsemen fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordann Bollens paced Valhalla's offense, picking up nine kills. Bollens got some help from Taryn Cleary and her 22 assists. Cleary was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Valhalla will challenge Patrick Henry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Chesterton Academy of Sacramento at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
