Pope John Paul II won the last time they faced Brentwood Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Pope John Paul II Knights strolled past the Brentwood Academy Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 67-53. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Eagles are ranked 49th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pope John Paul II has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Brentwood Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
