It was a good run, but King unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Ramona Rams by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

King saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Chavez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Chavez also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ramona, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will head out to square off against Redlands at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ramona, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge La Sierra at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
