Basketball Recap: Fuqua Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fuqua can now relate to. They fell to the Broadwater Academy Vikings 50-45. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly five points.

Among those leading the charge was Kacey Ford, who posted 23 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Adrianna Holloway was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Fuqua has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. Broadwater Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Fuqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broadwater Academy, they have already played their next game, a 47-37 loss against Brunswick Academy on the 28th.
