Basketball Recap: West Florence Takes a Loss

West Florence was the 47-42 winner over Trinity Collegiate when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The West Florence Knights fell 63-51 to the Trinity Collegiate Titans on Sunday.

Trinity Collegiate's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Wilson, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiauj ?KJ? Allen, who scored 13 points.

West Florence's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Trinity Collegiate, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Florence will face off against Lugoff-Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Collegiate, they will take on Northwood Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
