It was a good run, but Providence unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence will host Oakwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, they will be playing at home against St. Monica at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
