It was a good run, but Latexo unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 61-54 to the Normangee Panthers. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 56-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Latexo's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-11. As for Normangee, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Groveton the next time they take the court. Latexo will head out to face Groveton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Normangee will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th.
