Football Recap: Prairie du Chien Comes Up Short

Prairie du Chien blew River Valley out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday River Valley got their revenge. Prairie du Chien fell just short of River Valley by a score of 20-17. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Prairie du Chien came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 61st, while River Valley is ranked 219th).

Prairie du Chien's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for River Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
