Soccer Game Preview: Everman vs. Cleburne

Everman and Cleburne are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Everman Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Cleburne Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everman is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Everman who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Everman got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Centennial's three.

Cleburne is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Mansfield Timberview 6-0 on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Yellowjackets' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Everman's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cleburne, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4-5.
