Basketball Recap: Benedictine Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Benedictine extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Caleb Jones. The Benedictine Cadets took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-29 victory over the Perry Panthers thanks in part to Jones, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 19 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 39 games he's played dating back to last season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Williams, who posted nine points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high.

Benedictine pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Perry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Benedictine will challenge Warner Robins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ware County at 7:30 p.m.
