Softball Recap: St. Louis Park Orioles vs. Jefferson Jaguars
St. Louis Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Jaguars. St. Louis Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jefferson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.
Gabby Fadden made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. Eva Taybior was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
St. Louis Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
