Soccer Game Preview: Dutchtown vs. Johns Creek

The Dutchtown Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Dutchtown's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Banneker as Dutchtown made off with a 10-0 win. Considering Dutchtown have won six matches by more than four goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Johns Creek made easy work of Gainesville on Friday and carried off a 10-0 victory. Given Johns Creek's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Gainesville are ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dutchtown pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Johns Creek, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
