Volleyball Recap: Bothell Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bothell can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Woodinville Falcons on Saturday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Woodinville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Player #1, who had 21 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, Player #1 is now averaging an impressive 14.3 digs per game.

Bothell's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Woodinville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Bothell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodinville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Eastlake on the 1st.
