Volleyball Recap: Albert Lea Takes a Loss

Albert Lea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apple Valley Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Albert Lea's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Apple Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Coincidentally, Albert Lea and Apple Valley will both be playing Minneapolis Southwest the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 8:45 p.m.
