Volleyball Recap: Tilden Starts Season with Victory Against ACERO Garcia

Tilden took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the ACERO Garcia Patriots. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Tilden never let ACERO Garcia on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Tilden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Kranick, who had 12 kills, five blocks, and two aces. Luis Fernandez was another key player, getting eight kills, five blocks, and two aces.

ACERO Garcia is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Tilden has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mansueto on the 5th. As for ACERO Garcia, they will challenge Bowen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
