Basketball Recap: Rivendell Academy Takes a Loss

Rivendell Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Danville Bears and fell 102-38. While losing is never fun, Rivendell Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 61st in New Hampshire, while Danville is ranked 13th in Vermont).

Rivendell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-25. As for Danville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

While Rivendell Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
