Preview: McLean County Cougars vs. Daviess County Panthers
After four games on the road, McLean County is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Daviess County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-24, which was the final score in McLean County's tilt against Grayson County on Friday. McLean County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-9.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ava Lannum, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and five blocks. That's the first time this season that she posted two or more blocks.
Meanwhile, Daviess County suffered a rough 78-52 loss at the hands of Owensboro Catholic on Friday.
McLean County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Daviess County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
