Basketball Recap: South Wasco County Piles Up the Points Against Dayville/Monument

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Wasco County). They blew past the Dayville/Monument Tigers, posting a 79-43 win. The Redsides have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

South Wasco County pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Dayville/Monument, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Wasco County will face off against Dufur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dayville/Monument, they will take on Pilot Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pilot Rock will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Dayville/Monument surely won't give up without a fight.
