Softball Game Preview: St. Anthony Saints vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

The St. Anthony Saints will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Woodrow Wilson Bruins at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Anthony is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Bishop Montgomery on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to Redondo Union.

Woodrow Wilson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Stump, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
