Softball Game Preview: Gustine Reds vs. Waterford Wildcats

Gustine is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Waterford a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Gustine Reds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Waterford Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gustine came up short against Stone Ridge Christian on Wednesday, falling 9-1.

Meanwhile, Waterford lost 16-3 to Denair on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Gustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.

Everything went Gustine's way against Waterford when the teams last played back in April, as Gustine made off with an 18-5 win. Will the Reds repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
