Basketball Recap: Livingston Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Livingston Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-23 loss at the hands of the Ursuline Academy Lions. The Wolves lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 37-27 score last time.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Dunkin, who posted 25 points. Shelby Culotta was another key player, putting up ten points.

Livingston Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Ursuline Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Livingston Collegiate Academy has already played their next game, a 69-4 loss against De La Salle on the 3rd. As for Ursuline Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-27 defeat against Booker T. Washington on the 3rd.
