Gate City had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past the Union Bears 4-1. Gate City might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Union with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Walker Hillman (2), Garrett McLain, and Malachi Kern.

Gate City's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four matchups. As for Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
