Flag Football Game Preview: Marcos de Niza Padres vs. Westview Knights + How To Watch

The Marcos de Niza Padres will venture away from home to square off against the Westview Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marcos de Niza's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so Westview's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Westview will be up against a hot Marcos de Niza squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Padres never let Desert Sunrise get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Thursday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Padres were the (much) better team in the second half.

Marcos de Niza didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jakaela McCoy and Naray Watkins.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last contest, Westview made sure to put some points up on the board against Peoria on Tuesday. The Knights breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 38-0.

Marcos de Niza's record is now 3-1. As for Westview, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Things could have been worse for Marcos de Niza, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 33-14 loss to Westview when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Can the Padres avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
